A Vision for Pentecost in America

Restoration... It is a constant theme that threads its way through the history of God's dealings with man. This quality in the heart of God is a stunning expression of His unfailing mercy and limitless power. We've seen the Lord, in times past reach down into situations made horrible through sin in the hearts of men and bring glorious revivals.

The Urgency of the Hour

We live in a world that has become very man-centered. This spirit of the age has boldly walked into the church, leaving behind a trail of humanism and deception. But in the midst of this evil conspiracy, there is a call from heaven, a gathering unto the Person of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is looking for a bride for the Son of God. Grace is abounding to bring a people into a fresh intimate relationship with a Person, Jesus Christ.

Most churchgoers know nothing of the glory that filled men's hearts in the early church after the Day of Pentecost. That great impartation of God brought about a life of holiness and conformity to the Lordship of Christ. That initial outpouring of the Spirit was such as the world has never seen since, and yet we see a determination in the heart of God for the glory of the latter house to be greater than that of the former.

We firmly believe that God's heart- intent was expressed in the Pentecostal Church of the Book of Acts, because it was that Church which Jesus birthed in. The Bride that He is coming back for in these last days will love the Master with the same passion that filled the hearts of those disciples and changed the known world. The American church for the most part is a far cry from that heart of God, but we do not despair because we have a promise that grace will abound as God pours out the former and the latter rain together. In one last mighty outpouring the Earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God before the final harvest. We believe the same Pentecostal power that flowed through the Church on the day of Pentecost will be the same power flowing through the Church Jesus comes back for. Why should Jesus settle for anything less glorious for His bride?

What is Acts America?

We believe Acts America will be a part of this last day outpouring. Our congregation was in the fourth month of corporate prayer when the vision began to unfold. Over half of the congregation, including the young people, were in prayer every night for at least an hour (sometimes as much as 3 hours on Sundays). Acts America has been conceived, birthed and fully funded through prayer. These prayer meetings have continued now for over a year. In the space of this year came the means to cancel all ministry debt, purchase land for Acts America, renovate existing offices, hire the first Acts America employee and spread the message by CD, DVD and the Internet. We are moving forth completely debt free through prayer only.

The school in effect is a training ground to raise up the true disciples that God will use to usher in the Restoration of the Church. The students have no special talents or degrees.

• The school is 10 days of Spirit-filled instruction combined with prayer and worship all aimed at bringing you to the feet of Jesus. The school is an environment purged from worldly distractions to focus on communion with God.
• The mission and emphasis of the school is not based on any degree or credentials. The only goal is a divine encounter that will forever change your life and the lives around you.
• The heart-cry of leadership is for you to know Jesus by walking in true Pentecost that all can receive as the cross cuts a channel through the heart.
• Everything taught has been established through practical experience with the Lord, in order that every graduate would walk as the Bride of Christ in the home, the workplace and the congregation.
• We believe for each student to be a vessel that rivers of living waters can flow through and touch this generation with Jesus.
